For many years we have had the beautiful round dining table in our range. These round tables are available in two versions: the rustic finish from the dingklik series and the sleek version with the smooth finish from the lesung series.
The weathered tables from the dingklik series still show the structure of the old recycled teak planks, while the lesung tables have a smooth and sleek finish.

Our aim is to have the various sizes of round teak tables in stock from 100 cm diameter to 180 cm. If you want a size that is not in stock, we can generally deliver it very quickly due to the large supply from Indonesia. You can come by yourself to pick out a table, we can prepare the table for you while you wait with a cup of coffee. Or simply order online. The table will be assembled at your location by our own delivery service.

Round teak dining table: smooth and rustic finish

We have two versions of the round teak dining table in our range. The sleek lesung version with the smooth finish and the weathered dingklik version with the rustic finish . We are regularly asked what is more beautiful. Of course, that depends on your own taste and interior. The sleek version is a little lighter and the top is completely flat and evenly finished. The weathered version has small irregularities and the old planks are still visible. The weathered version is, as the term suggests, a little coarser. For a bowl of soup or a cup of coffee this is of course no problem, you can simply put it on.

Both finishes are new tables made of old wood. The rustic finish comes closest to an old round dining table in terms of look, but with the stability and height according to today's standards. The perfect combination!

Round table maintenance

Teak is easy to maintain. You can simply wipe your table with a damp cloth, preferably with green soap. Spills can always occur, if you wipe this off, there will be almost no rings and stains due to the natural oil in the teak. If stains do occur, they can also be removed by lightly sanding the spot, more information: treat teak table or not.

Smoothly planed teak wood, yet recycled

The sleek tables from the lesung series are also made of recycled teak. The old recycled teak is carefully selected and then completely planed and sanded to get the sleek look. Small inserts are therefore also possible with these round tables.

How many people can fit at a round dining table?

Round tables add extra atmosphere and coziness to a living room or kitchen. It is sometimes a bit more difficult to estimate what the right size is for your situation. There is a considerable difference between a round table with a diameter of 120cm or one with a diameter of 140cm. A top of 120cm has a surface of +/- 1.13m² and a top of 140cm +/- 1.54m². That is a difference of almost 36% or more than 1/3! For example, the round dining table 140cm is suitable for 6 people and the 120cm version for 4 people.

Enough calculation, below the number of persons and the corresponding dimensions. Here we have assumed that the round table has one leg in the middle and chairs without armrests with a maximum width of the seat of 45cm.

One person prefers to sit a bit more spaciously and another finds it nice to sit a bit closer together. Choose for yourself what you find most comfortable and then assume the minimum or maximum number of people. You can always come by and try it out yourself. Please contact us in advance. Round table and matching chairs

The round table can be combined very well with one of our teak dining chairs . Often the teak chair mariotto is chosen, with or without cross. We also have the mariotto chair in the rustic version in stock, this matches the round weathered tables. Round tables, also for catering and projects

Our round dining tables are not only popular for home use, also various catering establishments and projects have chosen this model. It is often combined with a few rectangular tables, one or two large round tables give extra atmosphere and character to the interior.

Round garden table

There is a difference between the indoor and outdoor tables. The round outdoor tables have openings in the top and a different leg. This table is specially designed as a garden table and can be left outside all year round. The round tables with the ball leg have a top that is completely closed. This can be used under a canopy at your own risk, completely free outside we really recommend the garden table intended for this purpose.

The teak used for the round table tops and legs is of 1st quality wood and completely solid teak. You get super quality at an even better price!
